Our Team

Ron Eddlemon started in the Electrical business in 1975.

After a year in college studying basic electrical, he went to work for his Father-in-law in the San Francisco Bay Area as an Apprentice Electrician. After a year, Ron moved into the company office as a Trainee Estimator. Ron was mentored by his Father-in-law for several years. He learned how to design electrical buildings, estimate, negotiate projects and project management. Ron then moved on to go to work with his father who was also an electrical contractor where he was mentored by his father and learned construction management, business management and finance along with people skills and motivation.

In 1983, Ron started his own business. Within 3 years, the company had grown to 150 employees. The company did jobs from $100.00 service calls to hotel’s, mid high rise office buildings, medical centers, 100’s of restaurants along with a waterslide park. In 1990, Ron relocated his business to Sacramento, CA where he continued establishing new clients and building new relationships. In 2001, Ron renamed and rebranded his business to Diamond Electric Group, Inc. After weathering the housing market crash in 2009/2010 and then the Covid pandemic in 2020, Ron went into semi-retirement and moved to Idaho where he oversaw the company for 4 years. Ron’s three sons continued the business.

In January 2025, Ron rejoined Diamond Electric with a much more active role as CEO and once again rebranded the company with a new vision.
